Your Goals for This Seminar

Please take a moment to answer this β€” it helps us deliver the seminar you came for.
Part 3: Disclaimer, Informed Consent & Data Protection

Please read each section carefully. This part of the form constitutes a legally binding agreement governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Section 1: Physical Contact Consent

I understand that demonstrating and practising Advanced BioStructural Correction ("ABC") involves physical contact between Certified ABC instructors, assistant instructors, and fellow seminar attendees as part of supervised hands-on practice.

I freely consent to allow instructors and other attendees to physically touch me and perform ABC techniques on me during the seminar. I understand that this physical contact is an essential component of the learning process.

I understand that I may withdraw my consent to physical contact at any time by informing the lead instructor, and that doing so will not result in any penalty, although it may limit my ability to participate in certain practical elements of the seminar.

You must agree to this section to proceed.

Section 2: Health Declaration and Fitness to Participate

I confirm that I am in good general health and am physically fit to participate in a seminar involving manual therapy techniques being applied to my body. I confirm that I have disclosed to the lead instructor, prior to the commencement of the seminar, any of the following that apply to me:

  1. Any current injuries, acute or chronic pain conditions, or recent surgical procedures.
  2. Any known medical conditions including but not limited to cardiovascular conditions, neurological conditions, bone density disorders (e.g. osteoporosis), connective tissue disorders, or spinal pathology.
  3. Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.
  4. Any condition that may be adversely affected by manual physical contact or spinal manipulation.

I accept that it is my responsibility to inform the lead instructor immediately if my health status changes during the seminar. I understand that the lead instructor reserves the right to exclude me from practical elements if, in their reasonable professional judgement, participation would pose an unacceptable risk to my health or safety.

You must confirm this section to proceed.

Do any of the above conditions apply to you?

Section 3: Certification, Practice and Insurance

I understand and acknowledge the following:

  1. Attendance at this seminar does not qualify me to represent myself as a Certified ABC Practitioner. I may only use the title "Certified ABC Practitioner" after completing the full certification requirements as determined by ABC Europe.
  2. I will not practise Advanced BioStructural Correction on members of the public unless I hold a valid ABC certification issued by ABC Europe and maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance that specifically covers the application of ABC techniques.
  3. Any application of the techniques learned at this seminar outside of the supervised seminar environment is entirely my own responsibility. ABC Europe, its instructors, and its affiliates accept no liability for outcomes arising from my use or misuse of the techniques taught, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  4. It is my responsibility to ensure I comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards applicable in my jurisdiction before applying any techniques learned at this seminar.
You must agree to this section to proceed.

Section 4: Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand that there is an inherent risk involved in all physical treatment methods, including Advanced BioStructural Correction. These risks include but are not limited to temporary soreness, discomfort, bruising, and in rare cases more serious injury.

I voluntarily accept these risks as a condition of my participation in this seminar. I acknowledge that ABC Europe, its instructors, officers, and affiliates have taken reasonable steps to minimise risk, but that risk cannot be entirely eliminated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that ABC Europe, its instructors, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from my participation in this seminar, except where such loss, damage, or injury is caused by the negligence of ABC Europe, its instructors, officers, or affiliates. Nothing in this agreement seeks to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

I am fully responsible for my own correct application of the method following the seminar, and I recognise that further and ongoing training is required to achieve and maintain certification and to practise the method safely and competently.

You must accept this section to proceed.

Section 5: Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

I acknowledge that the materials, techniques, protocols, and teaching content presented at this seminar are the proprietary intellectual property of ABC Europe and/or its licensors. I agree that I will not record, copy, distribute, or reproduce any seminar materials or content without the prior written consent of ABC Europe. This includes, but is not limited to, filming, photographing, or making audio recordings using a mobile phone, tablet, camera, or any other recording equipment during the seminar. I will not teach, present, or represent ABC techniques or protocols as my own methodology.

You must agree to this section to proceed.

Section 6: Media Release

ABC Europe may photograph, film, and record during the seminar for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes, including use on websites, social media, printed materials, and training resources.

You may withdraw consent to future use of your image at any time by notifying ABC Europe in writing at info@abc-europe.org. Upon receipt, ABC Europe will make reasonable efforts to remove your image from future materials, although it may not be possible to remove images already in circulation.
